Today Korean concern Kia announced that it intends to expand its model range with two new models: the new version of its SUV Sorento, as well as completely new model with body MPV, which will be exclusively for the European market and is now being developed under the code name “YN” .

Kia Sorento will be presented to public first. Its debut will held next March at the Geneva Motor Show. On this show will be presented 5-seat and 7-seat versions as well. Design of new items will resemble the design presented at last year’s on Seoul Motor Show. Three engines will be offered to European buyers: 2.4-liter gasoline engine and two diesel, one of which - 2.2-liter power of 185 hp - totally new.

As for the second model - the new Kia MPV, it is anticipated that it would be introduced towards the end of next year (presumably at Frankfurt Motor Show). Its production’ll use the same platform as the model Kia Soul and Hyundai i20.
