In the next 3-4 years Seat company intends to significantly expand its model range. Among possible new products called new minikar, a compact SUV and medium sedan.

First in this plan was Seat Exeo sedan, presented at Paris Motor Show this year. As another novelty may become a compact crossover soon. Preliminary information in news, to be known as Tribu, was received in August. However, whereas it was only skatches, which gave vague idea of the specific features of the car. First car photos were published just recently.

Seat Tribu will be based on Volkswagen Tiguan, but will have shorter front overhang and different back. New crossover will be offered in 3-door and 5-door versions. Production of the car will be established in the middle of next year at the company’s factory in the town of Martorell, Spain.
