Toyota Highlander

Japanese automaker Toyota announced four-cylinder 2.7 L engine, which will appear on the new version of Highlander SUV. As reported in the press release, new engine will be an alternative to six-cylinder versions - it will have high economy and low emission, but it is still 187 hp.

Toyota Highlander with the new engine will spend 10.7 liters of gasoline for a hundred kilometers in mixed mode, and 8.7 liters in while driving on the highway. With automatic transmission SUV with four-cylinder engine will reach 100 km/h just in 9.7 seconds.

Since the beginning of the production car will be offered with three engines: four-cylinder new 2.7 L, 3,5 V6 and 3,5 V6 Hybrid. SUV’s standard version is equipped with one axle drive, two rows of seats, air conditioning, six audio system, central lock and cruise control.
