New Audi A2

German magazine AutoBild assures that Audi took the final decision - new A2 generation will be ready soon. And now aware that this model will not be a sport hatchback(Audi wants to make sport hatchback from A1), and quite spacious for its size car, which will more resemble like small car.

Audi A2 new generation will be based on the wheel platform of Volkswagen Polo. Under the hood will be modern diesel and gasoline engines with turbo, in addition, the base car will be equipped with the «stop-start» system and other devices that will help to save fuel. But it is not known yet what will be the body of new Audi A2 generation. We should say that during the previous car variant was an aluminum body, however, the new model can get a regular steel. This will be able to reduce the cost of car production(draft of the first A2 generation was unprofitable due to the fact that the cost of production machinery has been too high).
