Nissan knows how to make a decent CVT- take the Murano, for example. But suffer the one in the Sentra, and you’d never know that fact. The worse part is the CVT is standard issue with the SL model; to get the six-speed manual you have to give up the leather seats, alloy wheels, keyless ignition, Bluetooth and XM satellite radio packaged in the SL.
